・The main contents of the application :
This book is a book of Sci-Fi paintings "Motoichiro TAKEBE Sci-Fi Illustrations", a work in two volumes, published in March 2006 which is re-edited for the iPad version.
The covers, frontispieces, and illustrations painted between 1965 and 1979 are chronologically included in this book.
After moved up to Tokyo in 1957, Takebe actively painted the illustrations in books for children and so on, while from 1960 he started to paint the cover illustration and other illustrations of the Mars Series whose first volume is  "A Princess of Mars" written by Edgar Rice Burroughs and published by Tokyo Sogensha Co.,.
This work made him widely known by Sci-Fi fans.
He worked in Sci-Fi painting between 1960s and 1970s.

The major works are as follows:
Mars Series and Venus Series and Pellucidar Series written by Burroughs published by Tokyo Sogensha Co.,, Tarzan Series published by Hayakawa Publishing Corporation, and Conan Series written by Robert Ervin Howard published by Hayakawa Publishing Corporation.
